Painting at the Gulf

Painting at the Gulf this year. 

I was planning to make Oil paintings but things were not quite right. 

This activity has been one of discovery of forms  and now that I am familiar,  I'm more into this story line and finding a more abstract form for it.

As I go South Spring arrives! I like that phenomena.

Almost turning a corner in Virginia and there it was a purple poof! and yellow green mist.

But still cold and uninviting. The news says 70 degrees in two days.

Out of synch with the schedule but things will change.

It's hard to just paint right off anyway though like the purple POOF!

Brooklyn Bridge

I like the idea of taking off from the Brooklyn Bridge as Walt Whitman extends from there and also the Bridge of Hart Crane's extends from that.

I was planning a painting but the difficulties of getting the materials there to make one was too much and then rain.

Well thats why I always say make it when the time presents itself as it is often too late.

Spring is late this season .
